If you’re having trouble installing your Ryoko eSIM, don’t worry — most installation issues can be resolved in just a few minutes.
We recommend using the Activation Link first, as it is the fastest and easiest installation method.
1. Check Your Internet Connection
Before installing your eSIM, make sure your device is connected to:
Stable Wi-Fi
orA strong mobile data connection
A weak connection may interrupt the installation process.
2. Try the Activation Link Again (Recommended Method)
The Activation Link is the preferred installation method and works directly on your phone.
Please make sure:
You open the email directly on the phone where you want to install the eSIM
You tap the Activation Link from the device itself (not from a computer)
You allow any installation prompts that appear on screen
If the link does not open properly:
Copy and paste it into another browser (Safari or Chrome recommended)
Close and reopen your email app
Restart your phone and try again
3. If Needed, Use the QR Code Installation Method
If the Activation Link still does not work, you can install the eSIM manually using the QR code.
To improve QR code scanning:
Increase the brightness of the screen displaying the QR code
Hold the phone steady while scanning
Clean your camera lens
Make sure you are using the correct QR code sent after purchase
⚠️ Please note:
QR codes are usually single-use only
Do not attempt to reuse a previously installed QR code
4. Confirm Your Device Supports eSIM
Please ensure your device:
Supports eSIM functionality
Is carrier unlocked
Has enough available eSIM slots (on some devices)
5. Restart Your Device
A quick restart often resolves temporary installation issues.
After restarting:
Retry the Activation Link first
Then try the QR code if necessary
