No internet connection after activation

If your Ryoko eSIM is installed but you have no internet, try the following steps.


1. Check if your eSIM is enabled

iPhone

  • Settings → Cellular → eSIM → Turn ON

Android

  • Settings → SIM Manager → Enable eSIM


2. Turn on Data Roaming

This is the most common cause.

  • Go to your eSIM settings

  • Enable Data Roaming (you won’t be charged extra when using our eSIM)


3. Select correct network

  • Turn on "Automatic network selection”

  • Our eSIM scans the available networks and automatically selects the best one supported.


4. Check APN settings

For iPhone (iOS)

On most iPhones, APN settings are set automatically. However, if needed:

  • Go to Settings

  • Tap Mobile Data or Cellular

  • Select your eSIM plan

  • Tap Mobile Data Network (if available)

  • Check the APN field and ensure it is set to truphone.com

⚠️ If “Mobile Data Network” is not visible, your APN is managed automatically and no changes are needed.


For Android

Steps may vary slightly depending on your device:

  • Go to Settings

  • Tap Network & Internet or Connections

  • Select Mobile Networks

  • Tap your eSIM / Access Point Names (APN)

  • Select the correct APN or tap Add

  • Ensure it is set to truphone.com

  • Save and select the new APN 


5. Restart your device

Restarting helps refresh network connections.


6. Check your data balance

  • You may have used all available data
  • Top up or purchase a new plan if needed
